Non EEC resident shooters must apply for a gun import permit. They must send the following information to the international department of FITAV:

• Last Name & first name (exactly as they are mentionned on the passport)
  
• Date of birth
  
• Nationality
  
• Destination in Italy (Shooting range and denomination of the championship)
  
• Reason of the trip in Italy
  
• Exact dates of arrival and departure in Italy
  
• Description of the gun: type (shotgun), model, Brand, caliber, serial #, other details (extra barrels)
  
• Email adress and/or fax
  

FITAV will send you a copy of the permit by fax or by email. You will have to show that copy of permit to the customs upon your arrival in Italy.
