1. Airline
IMPORTANT : You must ensure that the airline you will use accepts the transport of weapons until International Heathrow Airport.

3. Obtention of the Visitor Shotgun Permit - VSP
This form should be used by persons resident overseas when visiting Great Britain to apply for a Visitor's Shotgun Permit according to the section 2 “firearms, shotguns”, as defined in UK law:
Firearms to which Section 2 applies are shotguns including any smooth bore gun with a barrel length of not less than 60.96 cm (24 inches) and a bore of not more than 5.08 cm (2 inches) and has a non-detachable magazine holding not more than two cartridges. Shotguns and any other weapons that do not fall within this description are Section 1 firearms.
Grant of the permit will allow import and use of the listed firearms and/or the acquisition of approved firearms for use and export.
E.J. Churchill will act as the overseas visitor's sponsor (Part B of the form) for the purposes of making the application.
Thames Valley Police will only issue VSPs for the duration of a particular visit unless there are circumstances where they feel able to issue a pass for a longer period. If you feel you need your VSP to be valid for longer than the period of the Fitasc Championships Monday 8th July – Saturday 13th July 2019, you will need to provide evidence of planned, future visits and of your history and character such as on previous shooting trips (for example, if you take part in the British Masters & Grand Prix from 6th to 7th July 2019 in Westfield, please indicate it).

How to get the Visitor Shotgun Permit? |

For any individual entry on line on www.fitasc.com, one can select the option "Gun permit" whose €40 cost will be added to the individual .entry amount. For team bookings, the National Federations have to contact Fitasc directly regarding the VSP payment. |

E.J. Churchill will act as the overseas visitor's sponsor (Part A of the form) for the purposes of making the application. E.J. Churchill sends you the original of the VSP by UPS, DHL or Fedex within a timely fashion once they are in receipt of the document. IMPORTANT: Please note that EJ Churchill will issue Visitor Shot Gun Permits as soon as they have been processed and returned. |
