Category 1:

European Union, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Vaticano  and Switzerland) Albania, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Canada, South Korea, United States, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Montenegro, New Zealand, Serbia, Singapore, Taiwan and Vanuatu.

If you are already vaccinated, you must present proof of vaccination status and a sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of covid-19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of covid-19.

If you are not vaccinated, you must present the transport company and border control authorities with a negative PCR or antigenic test no more than 72 hours prior to departure (departure of first flight in case of connecting flights). Children aged below eleven years are exempt from testing. Category 2:

Les voyageurs de onze ans ou plus souhaitant venir en France en provenance d’un pays dans lequel on observe une circulation active du virus dans des proportions maîtrisées, sans diffusion de variants préoccupants. Il s’agit de tous les pays n’étant pas inclus dans les listes des pays « verts » et « rouges ».

All travellers arriving from an amber list country must present the transport company and border control authorities with a negative PCR test less than 72 hours prior to departure (first flight departure in case of connecting travel) or a negative antigen test less than 48 hours prior to departure (first flight departure in case of connecting flight). Children aged below eleven years are exempt from testing.

If you are already vaccinated, no restrictions shall apply when entering metropolitan France.

Vaccinated travellers must also provide:

• A sworn statement certifying the absence of COVID-19 symptoms and of any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19;
• Proof of their vaccination status.

Unvaccinated travellers must also provide:

Category 3:

Countries with particularly active circulation of the COVID-19 epidemic or the spread of certain SARS-CoV-2 variants, posing a higher risk of increased transmissibility or immune escape are classified in the red list by order of the Minister of Health, including Afghanistan, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Paraguay, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname and Uruguay

Unvaccinated travellers will be systematically quarantined or isolated by prefectural order on arrival in metropolitan France, for a period of ten days with restrictions on the time they can leave the isolation facility (except in case of transit in an international zone).

They must also provide:

• A sworn statement certifying the absence of COVID-19 symptoms and of any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19;
• A sworn undertaking to take an antigen test or biological examination on arrival in metropolitan France;
• Proof of home address or proper accommodation (hotel or equivalent), specifying, where applicable, how control officers can gain access to confirm compliance with the quarantine or isolation measures, except in cases of isolation in an accommodation facility provided by the administration (territorial isolation support units have been set up to assist isolated persons) or of transit in an international zone.
