Formalities

1. Visa Application

Athlete requiring an individual invitation of the Skeet & Trap Shooting Association of Thailand for visa can contact by email : nuiseemanon@gmail.com or sportingclay.thailand@gmail.com.

The following information is required:
- Full name (First name and Last name)
- Nationality
- Passport number
- Date of birth

The invitation letter (available here) will cover the period of training and competition.

2. Gun import permit

For those who send us the gun details (Firearms form), will receive the temporary gun import permit to Thailand by email.

IMPORTANT: The official airport for customs clearance of firearms in Thailand is Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) only.

2.1. The firearms form can be download from here.

2.2. Please fill in the original form only and send it by email not later than December 15^th ,2019 to: nuiseemanon@gmail.com or sportingclay.thailand@gmail.com.

The Organizing Committee of 1st Asia Championship - Sporting of Thailand and 2nd Asia Championship – Compak Sporting of Thailand will send a copy of the temporary gun import permit when approved and please make sure that you carry along a copy of this certified gun permit.

2.3. The procedure of firearms clearance in Thailand is:

Collect your luggage and your gun from the luggage belt (in case your gun is not come along with your luggage, please check at the oversize luggage section).

Go to the Red Channel (Custom clearance), present copy of your temporary gun import permit to the Police custom. They will ask for checking gun serial number to compare correct number with their record.

When firearm(s) clearance process at the customs is done, please go to the exit no. 2 (in the arrival hall). Our staff will meet you there (holding a label of competition logos). Your gun (s) has to be brought and kept in armory at the shooting range by our staff.

Important
Gun and ammunition need to be store in the armory at the shooting range only. All guns have to be transported by organizing staff in locked bags or cases. Bringing guns to hotels is prohibited, the use of the armory at the shooting range is mandatory.
The gun can be retrieve from the armory at the shooting range for training and competition.
