HOTELS

Evia Island is a highly tourist destination and the peak season extends from May to September. While there are many hotels, furnished apartments and furnished villas in a radius up to 50 Km around Psachna Shooting Club (PSC), it is highly recommended that participants to the Compak Sporting European Final make their accommodation bookings as early as possible to ensure availability and best possible rates.

We recommend the following areas (sorted by distance to PSC) for booking accommodations:

• Nerotrivia
• Chalkida
• Lefkanti
• Eretria

Shooters and their families may experience premium accommodation in selected 3***, 4****, and 5***** hotels. All of the selected hotels have special rates for participating shooters and their families. These special rates are subject to early booking, as well as, other terms and conditions. At the time of booking, do mention your participation to the Compak Sporting European Final at PSC.

How to Get There

Participants will be responsible for their own means of local transportation.

Psachna Shooting Club (PSC) is located on the Island of Evia. The Island of Evia is connected to the mainland by two bridges and therefore is accessible by car. The bridges connect Evia with the mainland at Chalkida city which is the main city of Evia. PSC is located near the city of Psachna (20 Km north of Chalkida on the Psachna Kathenoi Provincial road). Depending whether you enter Greece by Air, Ferry Boat or Car, following are main ways to get to PSC:

1. By Air through (a) Eleftherios Venizelos Airport (ATH) of Athens city or (b) Makedonia Airport (SKG) of Thessaloniki city.
2. By Ferry Boat from Ancona – Italy, through (a) Igoumenitsa Port or Patra Port.
3. By Ferry Boat through Piraeus Port.
4. By Car through the border with (a) Albania, (b) FYROM, (c) Bulgaria or (d) Turkey.

All major Rent-A-Car companies are represented at both ATH and SKG Airports. While the roads have sufficient signage in English Language, it is recommended the use of a GPS [https://tinyurl.com/y9a24tzj]. Additionally, there is sufficient 4G “Cosmote” mobile network coverage throughout.
