1. Possibility to enter the territory of the Republic of Poland:

1.1 For shooters from the territory of the European Union, a valid passport or ID card of a Schengen Area country and a European Firearms Card are required. An invitation or proof of registration for  a competition, sent after payment of the fee from the FITASC system, may be useful.

 

1.2 For persons from outside the EU but covered by visa-free regime for a period of up to 90 days (Countries: former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Andorra, United Arab Emirates, Antigua and Barbuda, Albania, Argentina, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Barbados, Brunei, Brazil, Bahamas, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Micronesia, Grenada, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Kiribati, Saint Kitts and Nevis, South Korea, Saint Lucia, Monaco, Moldova, Montenegro, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Nauru, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Palau, Paraguay, Serbia (except holders of Serbian passports issued by the Serbian Coordination Directorate (in Serbian: Koordinaciona uprava)), Solomon Islands, Seychelles, Singapore, San Marino , El Salvador, East Timor, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Ukraine, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America, Uruguay, Holy See, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Venezuela, Vanuatu, Samoa, Taiwan (for passport holders only , which contains the ID card number). It is worth adding that the visa-free regime for citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Georgia, North Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine applies only to holders of biometric passports. Special Administrative Regions of the People's Republic of China: Hong Kong, Macau, a current passport and a certificate authorizing the import of weapons and ammunition into the territory of the Republic of Poland are required.

1.3 Persons not covered by points 1.1 and 1.2 above must obtain an entry visa to the Schengen Area countries and a certificate authorizing them to import weapons and ammunition into the territory of the Republic of Poland.

 

2. A certificate authorizing the import of weapons and ammunition into the territory of the Republic of Poland for persons covered by points 1.2 and 1.3 above should be obtained in the following procedure:

2.1. It is obtained at the territorially competent consular office of the Republic of Poland - https://www.gov.pl/web/dyplomacja/polskie-przedstawicielstwa-na-swiecie

2.2 Documents may be submitted in person or by proxy.

2.3 You must make an appointment by phone or via the e-konsulat system.

2.4 Required documents:

- passport or ID card;

- a document authorizing  to own a weapon;

- completed weapon information card;

- Information on the amount of ammunition transported, the type and caliber of the cartridge.

- A personal invitation to the competition, which you will receive by writing to the e-mail address: gp2024poland@osr-strzelnica.pl

Necessary data:

- scan of the passport page with a photo, with data in English

- visa scan (if you have one) or information about its absence

- proof of payment of the competition fee to FITASC

- name and number of the document authorizing you to own a weapon, brand, caliber and serial number of the weapon, number of ammunition brought with you or the lack thereof

- indication of the date and place of the applicant's participation in the FITASC or ISSF competition for verification purposes.

2.5. The fee is EUR 60.00

2.6. Delivery time approx. 14 days.

2.7 Collection of the document in person or by post after paying the shipping costs.

2.8. After arriving in Poland, you must present your documents to customs clearance (red corridor) and obtain a stamp on the certificate confirming the fact that the weapon has been imported into the territory of the Republic of Poland.

 

The deadline for registration for persons from outside the territory of the Republic of Poland is July 25, 2024 due to the need to inform the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice about the number and nationality of shooters from outside the territory of the Republic of Poland.
