The discipline of Combined game Shooting has been part of FITASC since its creation. Running deer Shooting already figured in its 1921program. This discipline was then replaced by running wild boar, but its managers decide to abandon this discipline in 1947.
In 2003 several National Shooting federations, some of which were members of FITASC, others who were not, express their wish to see this activity re-introduced once more, based on the concept of Combined game Shooting, thus opening a bright sporting future for hunters and rifle users. Thanks to the combined hunting Shooting section, the natural link between hunters and sporting shooters was strengthened. |
