FORMALITIES

1) Visa

The visa application is up to the athletes who must be informed of their country-specific regulations e. g. time limits.

Shooters requiring an individual invitation of the German Shooting Sport Federation for their visa can order it by email (bachem@dsb.de).

The following information is required:

• Full name
• nationality
• passport number
• date of birth

As long as the Organizing Committee gets no special information, the invitation will be send out by email.

The German Shooting Sport Federation has no influence on the embassies. The German Shooting Sport Federation can provide invitation for the period of the FITASC Grand Prix in Suhl only.

2) Gun import licence

All nations without the European Firearms Passport and all nations who do not belong to the European Union have to be in possession of the approved gun importation form, certified by the German authorities.

How to proceed ?

2.1. The form can be requested by email (bachem@dsb.de) after the registration on www.fitasc.com.

2.2. IMPORTANT: Please fill in the form completely and do not change the form or use your own form! Incomplete forms cannot be arranged and will be sent back!

The forms have to be sent back to the Organizing Committee by fax (+49 611 46807-49) or email (bachem@dsb.de) till June 15^th 2016 latest.

2.3. The German federation will send a copy of the import permit and please make sure that you carry along a copy of your certified gun form. 

Important: Gun and ammunition transport is not allowed by railway or other public transport facilities. All guns have to be transported in locked bags or cases. Bringing guns to hotels is prohibited, the use of the armory at the shooting range is mandatory.
